Photographer Week 6

Image
PHOTO BY Lala Deen Dayal :Indian Photographer(1844-1905) I find this photograph really beautiful because of its intricacy and colours. I Love how the photographer was able to capture this photo and keep the historical essence to it with how the colours are portrayed within it.  There is Hard light shining on the back wall which illuminates  the patterns and it is also a great way to know what this room would look like if you were standing there yourself.  The photograph is the  Interior of Sumon Bu ij-Delhi Although there is not a variety of  colour in the photograph, it adds to the period of which this room was built and the historic aspect of it . It was once one of the Queens/ Empresses bath rooms and the beauty of it was captured by Lala Deen Dayal .  The photograph itself was taken quite some time ago and with the technology available in that time I think this photograph was done justice with how beautifully it was captured.

Week 5 Composition

Golden Ratio: Rose 1/25 F5.3 online picture.                 I really liked this rose at the bottom of my garden and I had seen a photo online of a rose with the technique of golden ratio and I had hoped to recreate it. Negative space 1/200 F5.6 In this photograph I really like the different shades  of colour in the clouds . I am glad I was able to capture the darker clouds around the area of the Electricity lines, I also love how it gets brighter towards the top of the photograph and the clouds seem to disperse.  Dominance 1/30 F5.6 This was the last surviving flower in one of my little flower pots. I thought it captured "colour dominance" perfectly, its surrounding area was all green and this little red flower was in the middle of it all. Coherence 1/25 F5.3 I think this photograph captures coherence very well . I like how all the stones are unique in their shapes and sizes but all together they make a very nice scene. Rhythm 1/2...

Week 4

Field of flowers (ex.1) I really loved taking this photograph because I remember coming across this beautiful patch of flowers during summer and it was bursting with colours from every end, now as the seasons change only a few have survived but they still make it such a beautiful area. Fly Away (ex.2) I took this photograph with a slow shutter(1/80 F6.3) speed as I wanted to capture the beauty of the bird flying upwards . I absolutely love the scenery of this photograph. Double Trouble (ex.3) I enjoyed taking photographs of a subject in the each corner of the frame, I chose this photograph because I love how its nearly symmetrical with both of the flowers on either side of the frame. Willow Falls (ex.4) This has to be my favourite photograph because I walk around this park on a regular basis but never truly admired its beauty until I stopped to take photographs and noticed how wonderful the willow trees and little waterfall compliments each other. WalkWay (ex.5) I took this photo...
