Week 5 Composition

 Golden Ratio: Rose 1/25 F5.3

I really liked this rose at the bottom of my garden and I had seen a photo online of a rose with the technique of golden ratio and I had hoped to recreate it.





Negative space 1/200 F5.6

In this photograph I really like the different shades  of colour in the clouds . I am glad I was able to capture the darker clouds around the area of the Electricity lines, I also love how it gets brighter towards the top of the photograph and the clouds seem to disperse. 







Dominance 1/30 F5.6

This was the last surviving flower in one of my little flower pots. I thought it captured "colour dominance" perfectly, its surrounding area was all green and this little red flower was in the middle of it all.



Coherence 1/25 F5.3

I think this photograph captures coherence very well . I like how all the stones are unique in their shapes and sizes but all together they make a very nice scene.






Rhythm 1/200 F5.6
I really like the pattern and repetition of this wired gate that I had never taken notice of at the end of my garden. I love how the clear blue sky is the perfect complimentary backdrop for this photograph.



Leading Lines 1/30 F5.3


I like the range of colours in this photograph and how my gate captures the leading line technique.



Balance 1/25 F5.3

I Tried to capture a photograph using the "Balance" , I think this photograph does capture it well . I really like how the front stone is blurred and adds depth to the background stone yet there is still an emphasis on the big foreground stone.







Horizontal lines 1/25 F5.6

I like the different shades of wood in this bench and the horizontal lines compliment the wall behind it which is white and uneven.

 Semester 2:  01/02/2021             Image Production For task 1 I found it quite simple to use photoshop and enjoyable. I've used photoshop previously in semester 1 but never fully understood the functionalities of the programme. Im looking forward to delving deeper and gaining even more skills from it. Ex3: I was unable to complete the second exercise. I had tried to do it but for some reason adobe bridge wasn't co-operating and the files just weren't working for me. I couldn't get the photo from photoshop into adobe bridge with the instructions from the book so I had tried alternate ways and managed to get the photograph onto adobe bridge but the rest of the instructions didn't work out for me.

I really like the white background and the contrast with the  tic tac colours make it really pop. I was drawn to this because of the style the photograph has been taken, the lipstick is a matte colour and the paper behind it compliments it really well and the lighting is quite soft. I love the black background and the way the light shines on the can with the water droplets, there is a hard light coming from the right side which illuminates the coke can.

  Photography Product Assignment B00133634 Iqrah Muhammad       Proposal (Define) The product I am going to photograph is a bottle of Barbican Malt Drink. The manufacturer for this drink is Aujan Industries For this I will attempt to create a refreshing photograph with the bottle as the main subject and have some slices of lemon around the bottle. The target audience for this would be anyone from about 10 years old onwards because it is a non-alcoholic malt drink, it is a great drink for people who do not drink alcohol because the shape of the bottle is quite similar to any other beer. You may see this advert online, on billboards and tv. The reason I have chosen this brand is because it is not recognised enough although you do see the advert promoting it sometimes it is not a widely known beverage.
